Meet our 2022 Benefit Brew- the Mango Hazy ISA!
With increased urgency to tackle climate change, we wanted to dedicate this year's Benefit Brew to environmental organizations in BC and Alberta that are addressing this important global issue with unique and creative local solutions. This year we've partnered with the Pacific Salmon Foundation in BC and the Leftovers Foundation in AB to bring you our 2022 Benefit Brew, of which all proceeds will go towards these two foundations.
The Pacific Salmon Foundation has created the Pacific Salmon Explorer online tool to provide a better understanding of the state of our wild salmon populations. This tool provides access to the best available data for salmon conservation units in BC. Better data means healthier salmon. Proceeds from their Benefit Brew will go towards supporting this vital tool.
Proceeds from the Leftover Foundation Benefit Brew will go towards supporting their mission to reduce food waste in Canada. The Leftover Foundation is one of Canadas’s largest tech-enabled food rescue organizations and is committed to reducing food waste, increasing access, and developing innovative industry-leading social venture programs that change the way people think about sustainability. Last year 11 million tonnes of good food were wasted in Canada while 1 in 8 people went hungry. Good food can be rescued!
